Our Senior Carer, Ashleigh Harvey, has been crowned Domiciliary Carer of the Year 2025 at the
prestigious National Care Awards.

This incredible achievement shines a spotlight on the exceptional home care in Barrow,
home care in Ulverston and home care in Millom delivered by the Lakeland Care team every day.

A national celebration of Lakeland Care’s home care excellence

Ashleigh received her award at a glittering black-tie ceremony on Friday 7 November at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London,
overlooking Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Hosted by comedian and broadcaster Sue Perkins, the event brought
together outstanding providers from across the UK to celebrate excellence, compassion and innovation in social care.

Against strong competition from nine other national finalists, Ashleigh stood out for her:

Outstanding leadership as a Senior Carer at Lakeland Care
Warm, person-centred approach with every client and family
Advanced training in dementia, safeguarding, end-of-life and autism care
Commitment to mentoring new carers and raising standards across the service
